FarmTrust provides farmers with unique, timely activities they can undertake to improve the yield and quality of their crop so they can achieve a higher profit. Farm input companies, fertilizer companies, sensor companies amongst such organisations benefit from direct access to farmer’s buying and data driven agronomy needs. And buyers are able to access these crops directly, targeting the specific crop characteristics they are seeking (e.g., starch content).

Why we developed the FarmTrust application

Why we developed FarmTrust

We work in partnership with customers to develop the FarmTrust application for their specific requirement. Every partnership has its individual goals and needs – we will work together to meet these. As such, every financial agreement is based upon profitable returns for all stakeholders. Typically buying groups would provide the application to farmers in their network in return for securing ‘first choice’ on each farms output. The gain for the buying group is to see, over time, yields and quality from their farmer network improve alongside the ability to manage the predicted yield and purchase price, thus allowing further gains to be made down the value chain.

FarmTrust Commercial

FarmTrust allows buyers to create networks of producers to buy from and adds value to those producers by providing them with actionable tips to improve their harvests and ultimately their income. 

Using FarmTrust’s powerful analytical algorithms, aggregated data from individual farms coupled with a range of third-party data sources, the FarmTrust app provides highly tailored but simply delivered agronomic advice to each farmer in your network, focused on improving both the yield and quality of the product you wish to buy.

FarmTrust is a simple, mobile app; straightforward to use and integrate into the grower’s daily and weekly activity. The clever application of artificial intelligence and machine learning within the FarmTrust app is hidden from the user, who will simply provide farm and crop-specific advice and actions to take to deal with factors such as crop disease and pest control, appropriate fertilisation and irrigation, weed control and time to harvest – all taking into account factors such as weather, local soil type, cultivar, etc. All of this leads to the farmer being able to improve their livelihood by producing more, higher quality and therefore higher value crops.

Dashboards provide insight into precisely what is happening within producer network – forecast yields, timings etc – putting the buyer more closely in control. This provides for more accurate forecasting and can secure higher quality crops more suited to requirements.
